Bisbee Rolling Arts Transportation Society B.R.A.T.S.

B.R.A.T.S. history
Andrew Nelson and Poe Dismuke co-founded the Bisbee Rolling Arts Transport Society in 2009 with just 5 bratsters. The idea was to create an artists’ soap box derby through the steep streets of Bisbee. Now, there are dozens of carts, countless paradegoers, and more fun than ever! Every year, this gang of imaginative souls who dream, forage, collaborate, and construct art for art’s sake grows a bit bigger.

I worked with the publicity event rep to research this article. I gathered photos, used some that were provided, found a B.R.A.T.S. history video short, wrote the article, fact-checked it, and published it on the NewsBreak and Herald Review NABUR websites.
