I pitched this first-person account to Modern Arabian Horse editor Susan Bavaria about me as a first-time attendee from “up North” to the annual ArabHorse Farm Tours in Scottsdale, Arizona, which happens over New Year.
At the deadline, I delivered the fact-checked, 1700-word copy. I provided the names and contact details for each of the different event photographers aiding the magazine’s designer to know who to reach out to for photos she could use.

The award-winning magazine Modern Arabian Horse was the official magazine of the Arabian Horse Association and the most circulated Arabian horse publication during its publication years April/May 2007 through December 2016. Tagged “The Official Voice of the Arabian Horse Industry,” its goal was to share the passion of Arabian horse with everyone. Modern Arabian Horse emphasized the pride and value of Arabian horse ownership, one that you will enjoy forever. Its circulation was 10,000 to 20,000.
